bstract submission is now open for WFAE 2009 in México. Researches, teachers, sound producers, musicians, and individuals are invited to submit proposals for paper presentations, panels, workshops and audio / audio- visual works, which may allow us to share various thoughts in acoustic ecology. We expect proposals concerning all the
aspects of acoustic ecology and soundscape.

Main Themes:
• Environment and Soundscape
• Technology and the Construction of the Soundscape
• Education: Towards a Listening Culture
• Culture, Human Soundscape
•The Design of Sound Environments

Submission Procedures:
Those wishing to present papers at this conference should submit a
brief abstract, of no more than 300 words.

Workshops, panels, audio / audio-visual works should be submitted as
one proposal. It is the responsibility of the workshop or panel chair
to solicit and ensure the participation of all members.

Send your Word file as an email attachment to the chair of conference

body of your email, provide the following information by September 30th:

• Title of paper
• Author(s)
• Author’s affiliation
• Abstract less than 300 words
• Key words less than 6 words
• Text (Maximum 4,500 words including figures and tables)
• References
• Biography less than 200 words with contact information
